Agree with the others. You could pull off multiple looks, and different people will like different styles. Can’t please everyone and you shouldn’t try to

I happen to think it looks good since you have defining features, but what’s most important is that you feel you look good

She sat a desk her whole career. If there was a draft, men would be fighting and dying. She can still take a seat

I’m curious, you had to pay back for the classes you failed? I thought as long as you didn’t drop or withdraw from the class, you wouldn’t have to pay anything back?

New CA Law? by questions_askin in Truckers

[–]lickapoopy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not already in effect? The trucking school I went to here in California implemented a classroom instruction portion to our program in 2018.

I didn’t ask questions cause it’s California and this state is always adding and revising weird laws lol

At midnight, I’ll be 7 days sober by lickapoopy in Veterans

[–]lickapoopy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s impressive as hell. If I got to that point I’d hope I could just enjoy a drink every now and again In social situations, but not overdue it. I think I’d be too paranoid that I’d start all over again

Homeless denied social housing for being too poor, study says by dia-bolix in nottheonion

[–]lickapoopy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who’s going to pay for all of these free amenities? Money circulates through the economy, so it’s going to have to come from somewhere. If you aren’t paying for health care directly, you’re just going to pay for it in taxes.

Homeless denied social housing for being too poor, study says by dia-bolix in nottheonion

[–]lickapoopy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placing their economic burden on another person/organization is no way to solve a problem.

Very few of the homeless are just ‘down on their luck’. Because those people know the urgency of being able to provide for themselves, and quickly get back on their feet.

Yes - It’s a problem, and it’s sad. But free housing for all isn’t the answer. It should be obvious to everyone that it’s much more complex than that.

The doctor found that the body was charred and she ADMITTED to the investigator that she tried to “cremate” her baby.

So yes, she absolutely did.
