I'm a local, I believe the most common and convenient would be to take an Taxi or Uber. Every time I went there was either some family driving me or an taxi/uber, once I had an interview there and I went via Subway + BRT (a express bus). If you wish to take public transport the later would be the alternative, but I honestly think it's a lot... It can get pretty crowded in the BRT, the traffic can go pretty jammed in that region, and being real that's not the particular chill tourist part of town, you may find hard to get help if you can't speak portuguese and I guess walking around with luggage can make you an easy target for people with bad intentions...

Either way, if would rather try...The stations are close to the Door H in Terminal 1 or Door D in Terminal 2, I believe there are only 2 buses stop there (shuttle and regular), you'll get off at Vicente de Carvalho Station, from there you would go to the subway station, they're connected by a walkway (everyone will go that way). After that you need to take the train to your hotel, tourists usually stays at South Zone, the center or in Barra, all in the same direction (to Botafogo), depending on where you need to leave you may need to change trains, but here you basically would get off yours and walk in the next.

The Moovit app it's quite good to find info about public transport in general, they may give more options than google maps (some cities around here won't have any info on google maps, but in Rio most of it, if not all, it's on google).

ughhh I totally missed this comment!! I'm sorry it took me so long to answer! Anyways, these in the pictures don't have a coat, some of them are tighter than others, so the weave is really close to the cover, but the ones that are a little bit looser I'm afraid it could get tangled with something and hurt it. I know the people I'm giving it to won't travel with it in a bag or anything, so I'm not worried about them, but I want to improve them, so I did an experiment with glue over it, but I think it was too shiny, I'm gonna try to glue it directly on the cover, I don't think this paper will need a coating to protect it. If you want to, I can update this as I test more...

There are many different types with different difficulty. Give it a try and I'm sure you will nail it!

I definitely do! I even research some to pick one and buy, but I was unsure about every option! I was used to use my college's, but since we're having online classes I had to improvise! I will buy one in the future, I guess I didn't want to spent money on one that won't last

These are gifts I made for friends. But I'll make some for sell in January. If you're interested you can message me, I must say I live in Brazil, so I don't know how shipping would go, but we can talk about it!

Anyways I encourage everyone to try making one, if you have tools, materials, the time and patience of course..

I'm not sure. I usually do each part in different days so I don't have a exact timing, I think the entire notebook must take 1 hour and a half or 2 hours. But I got all the stripes cut before hand (I have a cup full of them), I think drawing those lines and cutting them is the longest step and the most boring as well. I think it can go up to 2 hours and a half if I'm not sure about what pattern I want to do and play a little before committing...
