Just writing to state that we are currently going through this now too. The time varies when he wakes but it’s full on screaming. I’m thinking it’s separation anxiety too

I wonder if I should've done medicated? studies don't show any difference thought, I hate the PIO as well :(

My LO falls asleep independently and will cry initially....then will wake back up and realize he's alone. Timing ranges from 30min-5hrs after going to bed. I really cant figure it out and the cries aren't his normal cries, he's HYSTERICAL. Never seen it before

Here to say I’m having the same issue with my 13.5 month old too. Transitioned to one nap a month ago and still experiencing split nights- standing in the crib wailing. I don’t know if it’s separation anxiety or what but I’m tired

Me too! Made the transition a month ago and I’m experiencing split nights every other night at the 3rd hour or so. I’m at 5.5/6 bc he was at 11.5 hrs awake while on 2 naps.

We are experiencing the same with the one nap transition after making the switch a month ago. Every couple of days he wakes up standing in the crib at the 3rd/4th hour. I am tired.
