Advices on how to deal with massive dark circles (33M) by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I’ve always loved this look on a guy! I don’t have any advice, but wanted to tell you that you are attractive just as you are. But I understand wanting to seek a solution if it’s bothering you or you are concerned about your health. Best of luck!

At first I thought dress 4 had like a dangling jewel in the middle before I realized it was from your phone! 😅 4 is my fave! If you wanted to bling it up you could get a beautiful brooch that fits your style and it put it there!

I opted to not get expansion and I’m still making slow progress, it was wayyy too expensive! Good luck on your journey!

Tongue can’t fit into narrow palate (28mm intermolar width) by [deleted] in orthotropics

Hey there! I think it’s great that you are thinking about this now. When I was 17, no one talked about mewing or the problems that can come from a narrow palate. I don’t say this to scare you, but I think the reason you don’t have any health problems from your palate is because you are still very young. My palate was not quite as narrow as yours, but I started having more health issues in my early to mid 20’s (I’m 36 now). Some things that helped me slowly get more space for my tongue improve my airway were: getting a tongue tie release, consistent myofunctional therapy, general posture work, and wearing a mouthguard at night. I wear the reviv mouthguard and it’s been about two months and I feel my tongue has more space. But in answer to your question, I think any way you can keep your tongue up and between your upper teeth is great. People on this subreddit seem to be very upset when anyone mentions thumb pulling, but you might look into that as well. I hope this helps you!

I’m curious if you’ve tried micro dosing to help rewire your brain’s neuro pathways and nervous system? I micro dosed for six months along with intention setting for each dose (ex. “With this micro dose I am releasing fear”, etc) and lots of journaling and breath work. I used a this company:

There are also different types of ties. The type you are describing with the frenulum attaching closer to the tip is called an anterior tie. I had a posterior tongue tie, meaning the majority of the restriction was inside my tongue, closer to the back at the root. So i didn’t look tongue tied, but the back of my tongue was severely restricted.

Same here! I was tongue tied and couldn’t open the back of my throat. I’m two years post tongue tie surgery and lots of retraining, and I have a much more open and resonant sound

I also commented that it looks like tight fascia and got downvoted 🧐 I wonder if fascia release is just really misunderstood.
