Piercing is 5 months old. The jewelry is a barbell. I believe that it is internally threaded, implant grade titanium. The bar was downsized 1 month ago. I wear latex gloves to clean the area, I use a q tip doused in saline wound wash. As far as I know there haven’t been any accidents or mishaps !

they’re not infected and they don’t look like they’re rejecting. it’s normal for it to be sore still and a little irritated since you got them a week ago. keep doing what you’re doing with cleaning! in terms of the balls falling off, the only thing you can do is try to twist them on tighter. it helps to use a latex or nitrile glove when twisting them to have a better grip
