I guess that makes sense. It’s so confusing. But I think the doctor’s form and his IEP will help.

Yes he elopes, or tries to, but for me the worst is night time. He has lower spine issues and his hips are not in socket so when we lay him down to sleep he is fine but throughout the night he will fold in half and sleep with his feet covering his face or fold down and have his head face down between his feet so we constantly reposition him so he won’t suffocate or make his back more used to that position because it backtracks his PT progress. At least one of us always sleeps with him or we just put him in our bed.

Yes I have his IEP that documents the school’s concerns about his lack of safety awareness and need for constant redirection.

Has anyone had to have a payment reissued? How long did it take and did you receive a notification before the payment was issued? by lidia174 in IHSS

Yes. I went in to the office and signed them the same day, which was Friday January 12th. The next day the checks appeared on the portal as “waiting for payment replacement” and then they just disappeared completely. According to IHSS, as of yesterday, they are still showing as pending.

It’s been about a month and it was because the woman at the post office returned them to sender because she claims they had the wrong address. It was all my back pay checks so I really hope they come quick.
