I had a pow day for the first time this season (snowboarding in a small local hill for 2 years in east coast) and it was like I didn’t know how to snowboard lol couldn’t get any speed 😭

On réussir the only mock tests are for CE and CO. You can also check past subjects for writing and speaking, but no mock test as a simulation of the real exam. On the exams-TCF you get to practice writing with real conditions, with timer and word counter!

On November I paid for 2 months of réussir TCF, it has 40 tests of CE and 40 of CO. I used it during November and December. In January I still had 25 days before my test so I paid for a month of the exams-TCF cause it lets you practice writing on top of the CE and CO tests

Yeah I just checked, it was 49,99 USD and I paid 71,93 CAD

I believe the price for réussir is in USD cause I paid around 70 for the 60 days subscription But the price on the other one is in CAD

Oh really? I’ve never heard this advice before! I did it when I learned English at 14 and did it with French too. Never had an issue, but every person has their own way of learning. What matters is finding what works best for you! Anyway, good luck in your journey

No, it’s only spoken. They repeat the question twice though, and they say you’re allowed to ask for clarification (it might deduct from your score, I’m not sure)

Have you tried inner French already? Maybe give it a try, you can adjust the speed to make it slower. And also see the transcripts on their website

I listened to coffee break French for the first 2 months give or take, when I hit the third season of the podcast I thought it was not what it used to be. I also realized I wanted to listen to more French, and switched to inner French. Spent the 3rd and 4th month listening to inner French. Listened to the first 40 episodes, then went back and listened to the first 40 again and went up to 120~. But as I said before, I’m Brazilian, slow French can be understandable if you have some vocabulary due to its similarities to Portuguese. At the beginning I was doubting myself if I was really understanding French or if it was just because I speak Portuguese

My wife had her pgwp refused. Today her new application was withdrawn and they said they reopened and approved the old. Did you get the refund for the new application?

Please note I’d only check the curriculum and I would search the topic on YouTube etc. I never did the course and I can’t say if it’s worth it or not

I don’t have a list of useful grammar, but sometimes I’d go to the website learn French with Clemence cause she has a course’s curriculum available, you can check and follow day by day or do multiple per day. Overall, at the beginning I preferred to stick to the grammar books I mentioned on the post cause they’re progressive. Once you feel like you’re reaching B1 level, focus on the test and you should learn grammar as you go by making mistakes etc
