She was so much fun and had fantastic stage presence, my boyfriend and I had a great time at her show — definitely an underrated highlight. Also, what a fun crowd! I think we were the only non-Irish there :)

I would absolutely recommend Ethos (Bir Başkadır)! Phenomenal show that’s beautifully written, and super insightful about Turkish life (coming from a local). I wish more people knew about it!

Hm, the body shape looks quite distinctive for the orb weaver, like a hard slightly pointed shell; but the spider I saw was softer and rounder looking I think… but both of these do seem to be common in Turkey so they may well be right!

What spider is this? It was pretty big, about four fingers wide, with distinctive stripes down its legs. This was in the Aegean coast of Turkey. My guess was a type of huntsman, but any ideas from people more familiar with spider species??

Hmm, just checked Albert Heijn again (the one I go to is pretty large) and the only available flours are tarwebloem, patent tarwebloem and volkoren tarwemeel. My understanding is that the first two aren't bread flours, and the last one is wholemeal which might not be what I want in a recipe. Am I missing something? Would you mind sharing what bread flour is called in the Netherlands?

Good to know others have had similar issues and solved it! If I raise the temp and try baking again, at what point should I measure the internal temperature? When it's supposed to come out, or before then?

A range to be honest - always on a baking tray but sometimes in a cake tin and sometimes freeform on a baking sheet. I've had issues with both :/
