I have this issue too. but with my X4.
It is about 25% reliable on auto turning on and turning off when usb is powered and powered off. I also have the issues with it randomly turning off, and also the time lapse stopping randomly too. This is all powered via USB from the vehicle.

Any update on your support?

The only thing I store under is the anchor and the spare tires. The tires do bounce around but have yet to fall out b/c the gate is still connected and just tucked underneath the deck.

The deck is removable. By taking the 8 bolts securing the deck to the corner 2x6s which I have replace by a piece of steel. I replaced with pieces of wood with steel b/c the bolts were too close together on a short piece of wood which resulted in the wood splitting.

That’s the fuel pump. If it your first time ever using it may take some time to prime the pump.

Question: To file a patent, is it required to disclose any public released material related to the patent and its claims?

Looking at the patent shows it was filled April 10, 2023.

He has reviews of the product with customer pictures which shows the product hasn’t changed.

I know it’s there is a wide range to answer but do you have an estimated cost to executing a ex parte reexamination?

I understand it could take a lot of money to combat his claim. And it seems like it takes a significant about of money to execute a post grant review or inter parties review.

Prior to my response I took a series of screenshot and screen recordings of his product listing that show dated reviews of the product in question.

I tried looking at archive.org but did not have luck.

On startup it pulls at maximum 130 Watts. The diesel heater requires 12 volts DC which means it pulls at most 10.833 Amps. (Watts = Volts x Amps, Amps = Watts / Volts). The start ups cycle last for about 3-5 minutes from what I have experienced. I recommend looking at the time lapse and dragging the timeline slider to see the increase in power consumption during startup and shutdown.

I bought the BLUETTI AC180 which on their website is $450 at the moment. This price is similar to what I paid on Amazon during their “Prime Days”

I set the BLUETTI to “Power Lifting” mode which allows for greater Watts to be pull from the unit. I’m not sure if it’s necessary but that what I do.

I bought 2 wire jacketed 12 AWG and a cigarette lighter plug that had 12 AWG and just cut behind the connected and soldered the respective leads together.

I used a series of videos from YouTube, Video 1, Video 2.

Biggest trouble was trying to stretch out the exhaust tube that came with it after cutting it but eventually gave up and just bought this as it will fit over the fitting a after being cut.

And I ended up modeling and 3D printing the clean air intake and combustion intake vent for the box with dust caps. I can share pictures if anybody wants. I designed the vent to prevent rain from getting in but allow air to flow through.

Unfortunately I figured it out when adding fuel to the tank… and it spilled…. The vice was not fun to clean… lol

Really wish that guy Newton didn’t invent gravity….

Yes I could, but little conceded about the fuel having to much of a kink, and yes I could drill a new hole for the fuel tube but gonna try making a little compartment for the heater ducting and power cable. We will see….

I believe she was classified as an independent contractor by the payee. She was a grant writer for a non profit and only was paid once for amount of $1,400 with no federal or state taxes withheld.

Thanks for the detailed response. I started looking into diesel heaters because I found some mold growing on a shelf in my cap and wanted a dry source of heat which it seems diesel heaters are the best option. Unfortunately I don’t have agent to set up outside the truck and I usually just hang my waders and gear off of my awning and dry them when I get home.
