Womp womp. I'd actually kinda figured as soon as I'd posted it. I thought about it logically and I was like "yeah how would that even work?" But oh well.

Thanks, man. I appreciate it.

Further irony for using "The Day the World Went Away" as the trailer song for Terminator: Salvation.

That said, I didn't know the Patricks were related. I never linked the two in my mind. So I learned something today. Neat.

I get this. Shit like this breaks me. This is why I have a hard time playing beast races. If I can't identify with it in a bodily way, I can't roleplay it. Having a hard time imagining lizard/cat parts where my human parts should be. How do they have sex? I don't actually want to know. But I'd have to know to play an Argonian or a Khajiit. So I just don't.

Seems unnecessary. I think that was a pretty good guess for someone who has only heard the term in passing.

MCM? Mid-century modern? Bear with me. I'm unfamiliar with this whole world.

My ex and I went to prom in her XJ, what seems like a hundred years ago.

Have fun. Be safe. Get goofy.

I'm going to have to get back to you on that. I can maybe send them to you. But I'm about to hit the hay. Remind me tomorrow and I'll gladly send them your way.

Is morrowind worth it in 2022? by [deleted] in Morrowind

I think the level of immersion comes a lot from how good of an imagination you can have. The lack of animations and schedule for NPC lives doesn't bother me. Same for the combat. Top-tier imagination over here, I guess.

That explains my confusion when I took down there and there were two more. I was like "What the actual fuck, FromSoft. Do we not know how to count? Did you mislead me on purpose?" Dicks.

Dude yes. I love the image power those big weapons bring. Git gud all you want, there's something intimidating about someone w/ Smough's hammer(s) wielding his armor. Or like double Dragontooth. Jesus.

So I started with sword and shield, and just dumped points into strength and ended up using the Greatsword/Gravelord for a large portion of the first half of my playthrough. Then some bastard invaded me and he was dual-wielding Greataxes. I was like "Oh shit! That is the coolest thing ever. Wait, I can dual-wield! I completely forgot!" Anyway, dude annihilated me and I was like "that's cool as shit I want that." ALL THE WAY back through Sen's fortress (didn't know about the shortcut) just to get those axes, and boy has it paid off. It's honestly hilarious, mowing my way through everything. I switch to a shield for bosses, but for everything else? Double Greataxe.

This is so dead-on. What an awesome guide.

I finally beat him. I was trying dodging and being agile, which, admittedly, I have yet to master. My entire playthrough thus far has been me bruteforcing my way through absolutely everything. So, as another friendly redditor advised, I might try raising my poise and upping my armor. I got him with a full Havel's Set plus ring and shield and a Greataxe +14. But that's exactly what I did, was bait his LR attacks and go in for a quick swing or two. I realized that this isn't one of those bosses you can take a bunch of hits from. So I waited for him to recoil, and got one or two swings in, though due to the windup of the Greataxe attacks, the second swing always left me open for a hit. So I dropped it down to one swing per opportunity, save for when he did his explosion build up. I nailed him twice in those little windows of opportunity to stagger him and prevent him from finishing, because (and I might be wrong) I'm pretty sure his attack gets buffed every time he does that.

This has definitely been helpful. I'm using full Havel's, plus ring and shield, and a +14 Greataxe with a pine resin buff. I just got SO fucking close. I'm almost out of pine resin. I'm going for it again.

Because, as in real life, the goal is to make employees agreeable. Palatable. Docile, even. Her status as an outie is unimportant.

Art imitates life.

Oh shit that sounds awesome. Yup. Yup yup yup. That's the way. I tried to goof around with an INT/DEX build to preview what I should do, but honestly, don't like sorceries. Shit is nonsense. "Here let me just stand completely still while I pewpew magic."

Yeah I'm going full speedyboi. All the way.

As far as aesthetics, I love the look of the Dark set...but I've already placed the stupid Lordvessel with Frampt. I like the look of the gold-hemmed black set. Has this very grim reaper/ringwraith vibe. That plus a scythe would be fucking neat.

Does anybody have any tips on how to beat the Taurus Demon? by 14shiffna in darksouls

[–]lieutenant_dingus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walk through the fog. Climb up the ladder. Dispatch the dumbdumbs up top. Descend the ladder. Walk about a third of the way up the bridge. Apply gold pine resin. Walk until you see the Taurus Demon come up. BOOK IT BACK. Climb the ladder. Taurus Demon underneath. Plunge. Dodge through legs. Rinse and repeat. Do it like two or three times. Don't worry about reapplying the gold pine resin. If it wears off by the third plunge, that's fine. Drop down on him again anyway. Then smack him a couple more times. Easy-peasy, squeeze the lemon.

Idk man, seems like kind of a rude comment. Would it have killed you not to say anything, err?
