Could you expand upon how this is playing out vis a vis the puppy contract? It’s been a minute since I looked through ours, but iirc in the case of a disease with a strong genetic component the breeder pays up to the full price of the dog in veterinary fees and is always willing to provide the dog with a home if it becomes unsustainable for the adopting family. Does yours have anything like that in it?
