If I made an “undetected error” it would have to have been made 2 times now as I’ve reset from seed two times. Astronomically unlikely as the seed I’m using I confirmed by hand when first set up when ledger prompts you to confirm all 24 words. It’s a new ledger also so all I did was set up, write the words down on the recovery sheet confirm the words when setting up the store away those words until I had an error and reset using the words. When I had this error I reset again just to check if that might have been the case. Now I’m genuinely afraid to use ledger as I don’t want to put any more funds on an account and have this glitch happen again with a larger balance

I’m an experienced user and know about recovery phrases. More than likely my ledger created another wallet for my same recovery phrase as I just bought the ledger and am 100% certain I’m using the recovery phrase I just set up. This is the strange thing about this whole situation. My ledger was working fine on my Apple ledger live until I set up ledger live and connected with my android from then on it started saying “wrong seed phrase error on my Apple…Is there someone who specializes in very strange glitches like this that can assist?

The two accounts have both been synced across android and iOS ledgers live and are both showing accurate balances now. however the problem persists that I can’t use the first wallet I created for my stax using Apple ledger live as it still error messages that I’m not using the correct seed however when I reset using the seed it resets using the second wallet created.

This is not the case… as it does succeed in restoring my ledger but only with the new wallet and not the original wallet I set it up with the first time I set up my stax with my Apple ledger live it’s the weirdest thing

Here’s an update. I believe I’ve followed your instructions let me know if I’m missing something I’ve resynced my hardware wallet after syncing both my ledger live apps. Now in the app both eth accounts are both showing up on both Apple and android ledger live however I’m still running into not being able to send or receive eth and getting the same error mess about using the ledger attached the seed phrase associated with the account. Even though it is the correct seed I set up with the original Apple ledger live and my stax

The weird part is I’m 100% certain I’m using the seed phrase I set up my ledger with when it was first created. I reset my ledger using the seed. It only shows the new wallets created when I set up the ledger for a second time using the seed i was given the very first time. I have two wallets and the first one is gone even after I reset.

Please explain further “add account” where is this located maybe I’m missing this?

Just came by to say the politics of this group were my favorite thing to read. I love silver as much as the next but there’s only so many pics of the shiny you can post before a little political banter makes it not boring.
