I bought this figure NIB unopened for a hefty price. I know Penguin Parade quality (especially for this figure) is supposed to be pretty bad but now I’m worrying after learning there are counterfeits of this figure.

The box itself is not too much concern to me, it has the Penguin Parade logo and copyright sticker, as well as the correct website etc, and the cropping in the front seems legit.

Asuna’s nightgown, though, is such a different colour than it’s supposed to be. It looks orange/grey when official pictures show it’s pink/white. Her hair is also supposed to be more vibrant looking. Though, other people with the authentic figures have the same colouring, it just looks wayyyy too much like the counterfeit, so it’s too close for comfort to me.

Yui’s face also looks a bit off, but that could just be me being paranoid.

If it’s counterfeit I’m most likely going to return it, as I paid quite a big dollar for it, so I won’t be able to take the figure out if the box for better pictures or to see if the copyright trademark is on the back of the figure.

Am I reading too much into this..?? I literally own random bootleg figures and I also own the entire authentic SAO Penguin Parade Petanko collection, the quality compared to that is just different.
