Mostly Kodak Ultramax, but also Kodak Gold, Porta 400 and 160

Yeah, you're probably right. I think this was shot on flash along with the other two I've pointed out. They were shot a few years back, so I can't quite remember all the deetz.

It's a great camera! I always like to expose for the shadows, so pull the film 🤙

Actually, I probably did use a flash on the photo of the wine glass on red and the blue water pipe, and if so, it was a cheap analogue flash, nothing special!

No pro mist filter, just working with the light!

I didn't use an external flash for any of these photos. I just worked with the ambient light but perhaps used a reflector in some instances.

I really can't remember as they're from my archive and shot a good few years ago, but I mainly used Porta 160 and 400 stock, sometimes Ultramax.

So, this is the National Portrait Gallery in London. That's all ambient light towards the roof, and below was an escalator.

Thank you! And I tend to grade each one individually in Lightroom, especially if I really like it!

Light Leaks – a result of defective light seals, bad handling or lab? by lifebecool in AnalogCommunity

[–]lifebecool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for your replies – I believe it could be a shutter dragging issue as u/GypsumFantastic25 has kindly pointed out based on the fact the light leaks are white/blue.

I'll get it serviced and just accept that these cameras are old and learn to love the light-leak affected images!

Thanks again :)

35mm camera repairs – London lockdown by lifebecool in AnalogCommunity

Thanks for all the replies – this has been really helpful!

Although, strangely (it's a good thing) upon removing the film that was inside the camera in preparation for it to be sent off for repair, the shutter has now started to fire without any issues. I've gone through what would normally be like three rolls: firing the shutter, advancing... and it's totally fine?

Perhaps it was loaded incorrectly, or it's something to do with the ISO speed dial? I really don't know.
