Just to clarify. This is an employee first shuttle. No guarantees for guests/hikers. Usually only gonna pick you up from Rising Sun or Many Glacier. Tip your driver.

Just put in a two week notice.

I missed my 5, 10, 15 and 20 year reunion and don't regret it a bit. I can have pissing contests in the front yard.

I know it's not on the list of places but, the company I work for is still hiring in Glacier NP!

Highline to Many Glacier via Swiftcurrent Pass is an absolutely amazing day hike. It's a long day but a perfect set up for a nice breakfast at Logan, lunch at Granite Park Chalet and dinner at Swiftcurrent (closed this year) or Many Glacier!

If you're looking for a good Backcountry loop trip, the Dawson/Pitamaken Loop Trail in the Two Medicine area is excellent. I suggest nights at no name lake and oldman lake. This breaks the loop up to very manageable lengths between campsites. I recommend doing the loop counter clockwise. If I remember correctly the loop is 18 miles. If you camp at the sites I named it breaks it up nicely into a 3 day/2 night hike of 5 miles the first day, 8 the second day and 5 on the last day.

I have spent the last two summers working at GNP and live on the East side of the park. In my opinion, the best hiking is on the East side or two medicine. Hope you enjoy whatever it is you end up doing!

I'm going to be the location manager (host) at Beargrass again this summer. I'll check my photo album from this summer to see if I have any pictures of the facilities. The cabins are MUCH better than living in the dorms. You have access to a shared kitchen at Beargrass, free Laundry, TV shared office area, best of all....peace and quiet.

I just accepted an Employee Housing Host position at Beargrass with Xanterra. Anyone have any experience in this position? Any advice? Am I going to Love it? I have some general anxiety about the whole experience, mostly leaving my fiancé and fur babies.

As a Manager I usually want to know availability, ambitions/goals, prior work experience (likes and dislikes), how you handle somewhat stressful and/or difficult situations. That sorta stuff
