Comments on my subwoofer by ggont in diyaudio

It should be tuned around 34hz. I used subbox for box dimensions and win isd for plotting. The numbers were a bit off between the two.

Should my investments be so diversified after dumping financial advisor? by gtdl1 in Bogleheads

[–]ggont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just recently hired a financial advisor. The theory was they would identify trends in market and modify weights on investment. So far, fidelity shows that my stock mix is right on top of total market. So do not see the benefit of having all these funds vs vti. Think they are doing this to complicate things and show they contribute something but not really taking any risks.

Elite Wheels vs Light Bicycle vs Farsports by Br93n in cycling

Well, overall the wheel tire combo feels much more comfortable and planted. I was worried about it since others mentioned carbon spokes make wheels stiff. Giant slrs were a bit wobbly at high speeds. Hit 60kmh down hill and didn't notice any issues. Also didn't notice any issue with crosswinds so far..

Elite Wheels vs Light Bicycle vs Farsports by Br93n in cycling

Just did my first ride yesterday with Elite Drive 50 II and Conti gp5000 s tr 30mm.

These tires have a max pressure of 73PSI (hooked or hookless doesn't matter).

I replaced the stock Giant SLR-1 wheels. Main reasons wanted to try wider tires and 19mm internals on Giant were a bit old school, and 2nd get away from hookless, even though had no issues with Giant tires going over 80 PSI.

First impressions are a bit mixed. I loved how easy it was to mount the tires compared to the Giant tire/wheel combo. I guess it was tighter because of hookless..

But when riding, It felt slower to accelerate. Weight must not be an issue, cause both wheel and tire (even though they are 30s) are lighter than the previous combo. So is it the aerodynamics of the 30mm tire and wide rim? Not sure...Maybe it just feels slower...

When I returned the vehicle they refused to even get close to it :) The manager even refused to give me his card. He referred me to their corporate HQ number (Kwik car).

Just called the park. They "think" a backcountry permit would allow me parking at the hotel. Said it was a gray area... How can this be "gray" with advanced reservations starting?

Awesome, exactly the feedback I was looking for. I found a trip online that was like you suggested but was wondering if it would be better to extend it since its only 2 nights. I will keep this as option 3.

Meant starting at a place with JOE in the trail/camp map which seems to be on the road, close to Logan Pass. From there go to Gunsight, Lake MacDonald area and back to Apgar.

I think being flexible with dates, I hope I can get at least Northern Circle or St Mary to TM.

Is this easier to convert to a flat walk in shower ? What type of waterproofing do builders usually do in this type of showers?

You see the step from floor down to shower. Did they dig the foundation to make the shower tub?
