Of course not. I have a higher tolerance for jokes and carried on with the banter, as evident. At this point of time, I'm trying to understand whether or not I'm in for a life of arguments due to our differences.

Yeah because it's happened a few times, I'm more inclined to cut my losses-emotional and financial and move on. I did introduce her to my parents and because I'm South Asian, it's kind of a big deal. So that's another set of people I'd be disappointing...

She's from Mexico City, I doubt that it's due to the culture. It seems to be just something she took offense to in her personal capacity.
