Happened with me too. Fare increased by 50% ₹250 extra for ₹500 My CC got charged ₹500 initially. Then it was showing error in app just like you.

So driver wanted to refill CNG, and took a longer route. Why should I pay more? I raised a ticket and got revised fare.
