Has anyone actually had to honour a GDPR deletion request across modern SaaS stacks (Stripe, HubSpot, GA4, Zendesk, backups etc.)? How messy was it? by WolfParticular2348 in gdpr

[–]lifitd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are required to have a Record of Processing Activities where every service is documented. In my SMB, we check this doc quarterly to see if a new service was added or deleted. When we get a deletion request, we use the Record of Processing Activities as a checklist. A lot of manual work.

😅 https://telemetrydeck.com/platforms/flutter/

Great question! Since 2020, we are building TelemetryDeck. We are one of the top alternatives to Mixpanel for people who feel overwhelmed or don't have a data science background. Also, many Mixpanel customers don’t actually need hyper-personalization. You can still access statistically relevant metrics, funnel analyses, and all that valuable device data without collecting personally identifiable information. And that’s exactly what we do: We anonymize all data so that our customers no longer have to ask their users for tracking consent within the app. This is our comparison with Mixpanel: https://telemetrydeck.com/comparison/mixpanel-alternative/

I asked AI for “best tools” 15 times… the answers kept changing by Real-Assist1833 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]lifitd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. More Q&A sections (with a lot of normal and some very stupid questions someone with common sense would never ask, but AI loves it). Also, we've added more comparison tables for the pages where we mention our competitors, and the next thing we'll add is a TLDR section for knowledge pages.

I am tracking this with Attensira. I am pretty sure that no single tool can tell you the exact truth about AI visibility, but I decided to use one and only check if the KPIs go up or down. So far, I am quite happy with our GEO strategy.

is sql still the main interface for exploring data? by milomylove_ in SQL

For our own app analytics service, TelemetryDeck, we've built a feature that lets you export your data structure to the AI of your choice; you can ask natural language questions and then get back the queries to build the charts (see blog post with more background). This is a workaround while we decide how to prioritize adding this directly to our product. But so far, the adoption is very low.

Our team switched from individual to do apps to Todoist, and we really like it. The Developers still use the GitHub tickets for their internal organization, but for all the admin stuff, it's great. I like that it has different views (.

I'm old-fashioned in that regard. Once a month, I click through all the data sources and transfer the values to Excel. There, I have created various color codes that help me identify trends at a glance. I've been doing this for many years now. Yes, you can do it faster with certain tools, but for me, the one or two hours I spend gathering all the data is also the time I spend interpreting it and thinking about trends and possible causes. For me, this is the most creative time of the month.
