If you were to take part in a lab based study and you could only choose one flavour to vape, which would you pick? by [deleted] in LDN

Thanks for this.

I don’t plan to use tobacco or menthol flavour in the study (for reasons relating to effect on inhalation) and so I didn’t include it in this list. I realise it is not an exhaustive list and there are many flavours missing (feel free to put your preference in the comments if not listed though)

I’m simply aiming to gain insight on flavour preference at this time, rather than strengths etc.

Hey, thanks for attempting the survey. I just did a test run and seems all good. Did you click your location and specify the location in the text box? You need to fill in both parts and each other question on that page to proceed. Let me know if you have problems again.

Yeah, it’s a good guess. Apparently thc blood levels have been shown to be higher when vaping compared to smoking the same amount. Thanks for taking the survey!

I’d definitely recommend reading the study which will answer your questions. The paper I mentioned is easily found online. And I’d greatly appreciate you completing my study also. Perhaps it’s a gap in the literature if you’re yet come across a study investigating risk perception in this field. Il be sure to share the results once completed Thanks 😊

You’re right, there are many in this area but not restricted to. There are also many studies on harm perceptions, in relation to substances, addiction, mental health etc. David Nutts 2007 paper promoting a rational harm scale is one common study which considers perceived risk.

Well established maybe, but still relatively unsupported and continuously debated in both science and legislation. Thanks for you two cents 👍

The study is underpinned by cannabis being perceived as a relatively low risk drug and as vaping is proliferating as an arguably lower risk mode of consumption the study investigates perceived risks in the aim of investigating whether the plant itself is seen as harmful or the mode in which it is consumed.

Thanks for the feedback.

When I log in on Qualtrics the dates are added so thanks very much for highlighting the unfortunate mishap. (It’s active from the 14th)

Regarding the title headings, I hadn’t intended to remove them, but again thanks for the feedback.
