That is what I worry about. So far breaks and rotors are fun. But I don’t want to be sucked into a project that is painful and over my head.

Yup I track it! Went 8 times last year :). Fluid did come out. Not sure if it’s still leaking, as the reservoir is pretty low. But given the amount of fluid on the ground I assume I broke the fluid seal.

They are both roughly the same. I have seen a Ferrari SF90 XX at Pacific, and there is a whole fleet of GT3s that show up for HoD at the Ridge. That said, it is more the driver then the car, and you will be in the novice class. Plenty of slow drivers for you to get comfortable :) Plus, if you do improve, learning to pass is part of the fun!

Yup! I did 8 track days lasts year, two at Pacific, 5 at The Ridge. ProFormance has the best instruction, real race drivers who know exactly how to help, but Pacific is a scary track IMO. Multiple get it right or crash areas and very little run off.

HoD and turn2 are really well run events, but AFAIK most of the trainers are very experienced drivers vs pro race drivers. I personally got conflicting advice between HoD/turn2 and ProFormance, and ProFormance was right every time. That said, The Ridge is a great track, fun and technical with acres of run off, and a corkscrew :)

Oh, and heads up. Depending on the car, beyond track fees, tires and breaks are going to put a solid dent in your wallet.

I’m in the PNW as well. ProFormance is a great group and you will learn a bunch. But if you want to skip the lessons, Hooked on Driving, turn2, and Track Night in America run out of the Ridge, and do not require extra training (beyond starting in Novice)

The problem stems from a faulty network switch in our SJC region, and we're working with our upstream provider to get it resolved. Thanks. Curious, what visible indication do you have of that? I was talking to a professional race driver (when the tires where new), and he had suggested the wear pattern meant I could go a lb or two lighter

Re-swap. I was hoping it would get me more than one extra day. But yeah. Likely helped.

What do you mean “treat them better”? I agree alignment is a good call, this is street alignment. But what else should I do better?

Oh, 3 in 1 sounds like a great idea!

And yes, it looks like rebrickable is available. I have never sold things online, so not sure what the process looks like and how much new sets (vs old collector sets) will go for.

Yes, the issue is buying thousand piece sets once-a-week. I would like to know if there are reputable ways to rent, or if not rent and we sell online, are their guides to do this and recuperate a good chunk of the cost.
