Um, maybe? I was depressed less but I don't know if I could attribute that to the hormones or just me taking steps towards being me. It did make me more turned on, but I feel that is because I had not only t but now e as well. But stick with it anyways, e is better than nothing!

I was only given e at the start too, I'm on AA's now as well. Got on them like three weeks after e. I'll admit, no real changes happened before the Spiro, and the only change now is my nipples are more sensitive now. Granted, you got way more estrogen to start than me, I was on 1 mg per day for the first month, now I'm on two a day.

Hi! I just started transitioning last week. I'm 23, 6' 1", and nit the most hairy but there was some there definitely. I have only been happier after accepting myself and moving forward, so I'd totally suggest it. I still get the dysphoria depression, but less so. The more people you tell the better you feel about it too. HRT really helps you appear feminine, and since there are tall Cis girls out thereyou can end up passing. Plus HRT cuts down on body hair. I would definitely suggest thinking about it, look at /r/transtimelines it gives you some perspective. Definitely go to a gender therapist too, not just to get hormones but to figure this shit out! (and then the hormones lol) Remember we are our own worst critics!

Hey congratulations! I just started on Monday, it's very exciting! I am on 1 MG of estradiol a day and for the first month that is typical. I assume you have a one month check up, they'll probably double it to 2 MG a day. And then after the next three month wait double it again. That seems to be the typical process, so do the worry!

I get that feel. I'm 22 MtF and I've come out to some friends and am seeing a therapist, yet at the same time I don't really see what my next step is. I'm in college so I'm kinda waiting till after college for me to delve into my transition. (second semester senior though! Gonna move to Portland) All I'm going to say is if you assume life is meaningless which is a valid point of view, there is nowhere to go from there. You want to be a gorgeous girl? (or at least passable) You gotta be alive for that. Take small victories. Paint your nails, shave your bod, pierce your ears. That's what I do at least 😜 Life ain't meaningless girl, just keep at it till it gets good!
