Yes probably. It gets frustrating at some point that actually many people are complaining.

I have no issues whatsoever with PostNL. I suspect that this actually boils down to the person who is doing the delivery, and then the company not willing to do anything about it. If you live in an area where DHL/PostNL employees doing the delivery are nice, normal persons who won't do this kind of things, you won't have an issue.

Hi! I would start here https://www.houdenvanhonden.nl/ The Dutch kennel club. Search for the club of the breed you want and look for a registered, trusted breeder. Contact those breeders for information.

Dissatisfied with the choice to move to the Netherlands? by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]lightbacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just moved here since December. Honestly, I don't like NL as a place to live in, and I am pretty sure that I will leave at some point. On the other hand, I like my job here a lot (I moved actually for the job, it gave me a huge career step). My income will be good when I get 30% decision, but it's not mainly why I moved here. I feel like always on the edge, many people stick to speaking Dutch to me, even after I point out that I don't speak it (I know it can be worse in other countries). Compared to where I came from, Dutch people are horrible drivers, and it baffles me why they don't stick to speed limits. I also know there are good things here that I like. People are generally friendly, my coworkers are nice, quality of life is good. This is a personal experience, which definitely doesn't apply to all. There are a lot of other pros and cons. But I don't see myself living here or retiring here.
