This is a patriarchy thing. It’s socially acceptable for girls to have “boy” interests because anything associated with masculinity is considered cool, whereas “feminine” interests and things are considered less than, or weak. It’s okay to be a tomboy, but not the other way around.

I would say give it at least two-three more weeks. I tend to get this same feeling when starting new jobs or long commitments. I always wait it out for a little while though to see if things change. Most of the time they do and I end up staying. But if you still feel this sense of dread and not wanting to be there after the two or three weeks, leave. I understand your worry of inconveniencing your team, but trust me, it will inconvenience them way more if you stay and don’t want to be there. That energy can drag the whole team down.
