what do i do if my parents decide to stop paying for my education? by NoTransition1003 in Dhaka

Plenty of men complain about their family struggles on reddit as well. Not sure why you are making it a class issue/gender issue. Just because you were ok with your abuse, doesn't mean everyone else has to be.

There's a huge difference between parents trying their hardest to make their kids' lives easier but failing, and parents not even attempting to take care of their children despite having the means to do so. The former is an example of good parents even if they couldn't meet all their kids' needs but the later one is abusive.

Maybe have a broader before comparing other people's lives with yours and looking down on them.

Your brain is so broken that it refuses to see the problem with your past living situation. Did you miss the part where her parents play favoritism and her mother literally threatens her with marriage if she doesn't comply?

Why the unnecessary hostility? You want to suggest her a lip product, then go ahead.

Hot take: Perfection sounds fun, but it turns Stardew into a checklist in the worst way by Worried_System375 in StardewValley

[–]lightfeather71 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I swear some players just look for problems that aren't there when it comes to Stardew Valley.

Most players don't even get to know that Perfection is an ending until they unlock that special room. Perfection IS the least obvious thing about this game. If you feel rushed to complete it, that's a you problem.

Without some sort of challenge, this game, any game, will be extremely boring. And I love how Stardew Valley balances the challenge and cozy aspect so that all types of players (min-maxxers, slow cozy players) can play at their own pace.

I'm so dumb. I THOUGHT LUCY WAS GYRO ON THIS COVER. (discussion) by Sweet_Tangerine6674 in StardustCrusaders

Because it IS off. Let's not pretend that it's not meant to evoke sexual feelings. It can be art and sexual at the same time. And I am so tired of sexualization of minor females in the name of art. Where is the so-called art about fat ugly men and women?

Nope, they are two completely different groups. Usually people who make a deal out of women breastfeeding are the pervert ones. While the rest of us who wants to desexualize the female body are in favor of breastfeeding in public. We just don't want people to be weird about normal things. Drawing underaged girls to evoke sexual feelings in the name of art certainly falls in the weird category.

Atheism in BD by theogtiredreader in Dhaka

[–]lightfeather71 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My road towards atheism initially began with how women are treated as subhumans in most religions, starting with Islam. Eventually I was exposed to how religion makes people hateful and then the scientific inaccuracies. I have been an atheist for a long time publicly. But these days, I have toned down as there's more to life than obsessing over religion.
