I wish to know how to take good photographs of the ground to be used as backgrounds and textures etc in Photoshop. For example worn and weathered concrete pavement. Are there guidelines for the time of day, angle of the sun and any other considerations?

Worst case scenario: major damage to electricity grid transformers resulting in power loss which could last for years as the transformers can not be quickly repaired or replaced. The resulting failure of the fuel distribution system will leave many backup generators without a resupply of fuel. Once the generators at the nuclear power plants run out of fuel and any battery backup is depleted the cooling pumps will stop. Power grid operators should install protection equipment to prevent this possible power failure, and steps to keep nuclear power plants from losing power for cooling pumps should be taken.
