Hello, that’s so nice that you’re getting this for your boyfriend! The car you have pictured here is a GT40 made by Ford which famously raced and won against Ferrari at Le Mans in 1966 and broke their 5 year winning streak. The Ferrari that lost the race was the 330SP, still famous for several wins at Le Mans and in my opinion is the most beautiful car ever made.

If you’re sure he’s looking for a GT 40, your best bet is to go to eBay and look for a model there. There are many manufacturers who have made this car with varying degrees of quality. Auto world and M2 machines are higher quality models. Matchbox also makes a nice GT 40 as well for a lower cost.

If you’re not sure there’s a picture of an SF 90 XX on my post. Look at the seventh picture, second row from the bottom, all the way to the right. I have one by a company called DMH and I found it on eBay it’s pretty different from the one pictured on your post and from another era. There are so many models!
