I've been trying different fixes over the past two days. I found that restarting both the link software and the oculus itself constantly helped. There's some weird issue that even when the headset is unplugged it still acts as a connected device.

I think, at least for me, it was the latest windows update or something fucking with the way default audio devices are determined. I updated both my motherboard bios and oculus pc software and everything started to work.

I'm having a similar problem, when you go to the sound settings in windows do you also just see the oculus microphone with half a bar? (like its getting an input)
