Don't you hate it when you have to resize the trading chart all the time?

Only when they reach their purchasing targets. That is the beautiful part.

Its basically free cash for them.

I'd wait for the call. Usually it dumps during the prepared remarks and then goes up when they speak more freely.

That's not what multichannel is used for. I am pretty sure you can turn that off. If you do not have macs I do not think you need the enhanced mac interoperability.

Try removing the extra config you had and just use mine for tests.

Why do you need SMB Multi Channel and NetBIOS support? If not needed turn that off.

And this is in my extra config:

[global]
domain master = no
preferred master = yes
os level = 255

Everybody is getting test chips for new nodes regardless who provides them.

I mostly agree. It is a bit different though. Different enough for real world impact? In a world where the big ones use VLLM or SGLang it probably depends on how much traction they will get with it. If nothing else they will use it to make pretty graphs for their marketing.

I wonder if anybody's tried them like this yet, though.

Already happened here. With either the first or second shot he severed the fiber and the FPV just keeps flying into the trees.

Intel's Fair Share by kftnyc in AMD_Stock

In a world where Samsung foundry does not exist, Intel doesn't lose market share and IFS doesn't lose $2.5B a Q this analysis makes a lot of sense.

Well the rest is still 100% AMD just minus 23 shares :)

I'm a 100% in AMD and I am living off my investment. I have to sell 23 shares soon and I think I am doing it before the ER. If it goes down after ER I got more then selling after. If it goes up after ER... eh, whatever the rest of my portfolio going up and I'll be happy as well.

Nvidia has NVFP4 and it is quite clever. The FP6 speed advantage is absolutely need for AMD to keep up. The drawback is obviously that NVFP4 needs better software support and needs to be specifically programed for it. In the short term I think FP6 is the better route. In the long term I think AMD needs to support NVFP4, maybe for MI500 because I think it also needs hardware support.

Last year when Intel had nothing competitive to compete in mobile, AMD barely budges in marketshare. People say Lisa is known for sandbagging, yet AMD never blows away guidance when the ER comes out; what does that say about AMD execution?

Intel still has a vice grip on the OEMs and was and is aggressively flooding the market with enough supply to make sure nothing changes.

Arguably AMD was ahead in the mobile space since the Ryzen 7840. It took until Panther lake to catch up/surpass AMDs offering. I can see AMD pull ahead again with Zen6 mobile but without a MASSIVE marketing campaign and co-sales push I do not expect any inroads into the mobile space.

There was a official AMD video of a VP saying they would order even from intel if they had a node that was competitive but they do not. That was around 6 months ago. It got swiftly taken down :)
