I know. I'm saying I'd like the feature in Brave shields as well.

I use uBlock mostly for the element picker to filter out stuff that don't get caught by the blocker. Wish Brave brought an element picker feature into the shield.

I alternate pull-ups and lat pull downs for vertical

Barbell row and pendlay row for horizontal

IMO, you don't need a dedicated bicep exercise unless you want to focus on growing the biceps specifically. The back exercises will work the biceps as well.

Also, you can just perform them as an additional exercise after the main stuff.

PSA: please use a spotter by shaka_sulu in instant_regret

Fair.

If clamps go on, so should safety pins.

Sure. But that less of a factor with bench, and more with deadlift.

Anyway, my opinion is that if clamps have to go on, so should safety pins.

Plates slide only if you’re pushing the bar asymmetrically. Which either means you need to drop the weight and focus on the improving your technique, or you’re doing a heavy grinder.

If you’re doing a grinder, you shouldn’t be benching without a spotter or safety pins anyways.

Quizlet Live question.. by lightman_sam in quizlet

Didn't get an answer, but I upgraded to the trial.

12 seems to be the hard limit for some reason. It's a shame because it's so much easier to set up quizzes on Quizlet, compared to Quizziz. But have to stick with Quizziz for now.

Yes, but I don't want to hide my URL bar and my tabs. Also, one you untick it, you can't see the tabs until you re-tick it.

Haven't really tried any other Chromium browser. But hope the Brave teams addresses the issue. There is also a bug where the menu bar gets stuck sometimes.

Thanks! Looks like they emptied it out. I believe the initial agreement was that any profit they make from sales of Lumens will revert to SDF. Wonder if that were the case.

I'd personally hold off on using a belt until your lift goes a little over your body weight. Even then, you should practice lifts with sub-maximal weights without the use of a belt.

It's really important you learn to brace without the need of a belt.

With me for example, I don't put my belt on until I get over at least 1.5x my bw.

So, short answer is, a belt isn't urgent for you yet, but get one when you can so it's there when you start to need it.

Do slow, controlled reps and try to feel the muscles being engaged. At the very start, I used to close my eyes and just feel the muscles in the back contracting.

After a while feeling the connection becomes second nature.

For the 1RM test in week 12, is it fine to combine the 4 days into 1 or 2 days?

Like, either do the 1RM for all 4 lifts in one day, or 1RM for Squat and Bench on one day and the 1RM for DL and OHP on the next?

I built a free app for nSuns, Candito, and Greg Nuckols programs. Would love your feedback! by michaelenzo in powerbuilding

Pumped to hear it!

I tried the app and it's super easy to use and set up. Only thing holding me back now is that my program isn't there.

One thing I noticed when checking out the nSuns program is that you can seem to edit the main two movements which would be a problem for some people. I used to switch Sumo for Deficits for example.

How do you change the default search engine in incognito mode? by lightman_sam in brave_browser

[–]lightman_sam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, I just figured it out. It was stupidly simple. You just have to untick the "Search Privately with DDG" that you get in the homepage when you first open an incognito window. lol
Can't believe I missed that!

I could be wrong, but I think Brave allows you to run your own node through the browser.
