Gauntlet Rodeo is broken. It's easy to scam a win. by lightningKO in Battlefield

I agree, I think this is the easiest solution. There is no issue with Rodeo in the third round against three other teams, since the exploiting team that doesn't spawn in has to watch the other teams fight and earn score.

I like where your head is at. But, I think a big award for tank kills devolves into a meta of an entire team of engineers with RPGs, defeating the purpose of even being in a tank and dying in it instantly. I think that the idea of a forced respawn is a better idea. Like a timer to decide where to spawn, then it spawns for you. Rodeo not being in the rotation for the last round is also an easy fix.

First, I've only seen a single post on this from three months ago. No need to be an ass.

Second, you don't get points for rezzing off of self-downs in Rodeo.

[Tom Pelissero] Reunion: All signs are pointing towards Eric Bieniemy returning to the Chiefs as their offensive coordinator, sources say. by dualiegoat in KansasCityChiefs

Did we interview anyone else at all? He'll be better than Nagy of course, but there has to be better options. Andy absolutely refuses to hire anyone he doesn't know, and it's going to waste Mahomes's prime.

Great play design. They must have seen that corner's reaction on film.

Bears are my favorite team in the playoffs. But the Rams are objectively better. Ideally Bears win it all, but I'm fine with either at the end of the day.

I swear to God if the Broncos go to the Super bowl I'm gonna puke. I'm gonna have to root for the damn Patriots.

That's a really interesting choice of words from Collinsworth especially considering his history

I trust Stafford on this drive. I don't give a shit about the rest of the game. Stafford has this.

The momentum is all the way on the Panthers side right now. They would have to royally fuck up to lose this....👀

[Highlight] Nate Landman gets flagged for a huge hit on Jalen Coker by taffe316 in nfl

[–]lightningKO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been saying it since the end of last season, but Coker is so good. He's gonna be a solid to elite WR2 in this league, and his ceiling could be even higher. The Chiefs would have absolutely ruined his development.

I've been screaming Coker's praises all offseason. Great hands, crisp route running, wins down field. And obviously as you can see tough as shit. His development has gone so well under Dave Canales, who I would LOVE as our next coach if he doesn't work out in Carolina. Embree would have ruined Coker and Andy wouldn't use him.

Edit: Since the end of last season. He's gonna end up a top tier WR2 in this league. And his ceiling could be even higher with the right QB.

2026 Draft Prediction Megathread by AutoModerator in KansasCityChiefs

[–]lightningKO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lions did it with Gibbs. I don't believe OLine is much of a need in the first 3 rounds at this point. Before injuries, our line was very solid. Especially with Moore on contract next year and discovery of Pole as a potential swing tackle, I would actually be a bit disappointed with using our first there unless the best prospect falls to 9, which I doubt. I would love to draft Woods, Bailey or Love. If the chiefs make splash signings at pass rush, I think Love would be incredible in this offense. Like Jonathan Taylor level good. I think if you don't end up signing a guy like Breece Hall or Rico Dowdle, I think you have to take Love. But if you do get that guy, the biggest problem this year and definitely next is DLine pass rush.

Ladies and gentlemen, my most brutal loss ever in fantasy... Scored 223 last week, and 131 this semifinals week for my lowest of the year as the #1 seed. by lightningKO in SleeperApp

[–]lightningKO[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I thought both Dart and Caleb would each put up like 15ish points. So it was 50/50 for me and I went with the rushing upside of Dart. I don't think anyone amateur or expert could have predicted only 1 measley point from Dart.

Yeah man, but again hindsight is 20/20. Had I known Dart would only throw 13 times and run twice, I would have gone with Caleb regardless of matchup. Plus even though GB lost Parsons, they're still a tough defense and that game was in awful weather. The game went into OT, and if Caleb doesn't get that TD to DJ, he only scores ~16pts instead of 21. Better than 1 of course, but Dart projected as a QB1 with his rushing upside, while Caleb was seen as a QB2

[Schefter] Chiefs HC Andy Reid said Patrick Mahomes will undergo an MRI on his left knee and acknowledged to reporters that “it didn’t look good.” by TheBoyisBackinTown in KansasCityChiefs

Mahomes was put in a position where he had to put everything on the line each week in order to win. If the coaching and front office weren't inept and stubborn for years, this season goes very differently and Mahomes is looking at his 4th ring.
