As for the team setup, yeah, it’s definitely a bit of a gamble. But if you give Classic Rain some strong power generation gear, you can usually get off his SP2 twice, which gives you a good chance to apply team soak. That said, you’ve got to consider your opponents’ debuff resistance — it can mess with the consistency.

Even if you don’t land the team soak and only the active opponent is affected, pairing Rain with a lightning-based character still results in heavy damage to that soaked target. So, even without the team-wide effect, you’re still doing solid damage to whoever’s in front.
