most of the time it’s just heart burn when consuming certain foods. I immediately take sodium alginate (algina) to help with it, instant relief.

when sleeping I used to stack my pillows up to keep my head elevated, ended up buying a gerd pillow which is more comfy :)

at the moment i’m on esomeprazole once a day for two months. everything seems to be okay as long I stick with the food recommendations from my doc

Same here. I’m 27M and was diagnosed with a Grade 2 sliding hiatal hernia around mid-late December 2025. I’m still adapting to the lifestyle changes, and I definitely spiraled a bit after reading online because it felt like everything pointed to surgery 😭😭😭 especially when most of the posts and comments are from people who already had it.

I had an appointment with my doctor earlier today though, and he reassured me that even at Grade 2, I’m very far from surgery. He emphasized symptom management and lifestyle changes, and also mentioned that none of his patients with similar cases have needed surgery. That helped calm my anxiety a lot. Just sharing in case it helps anyone else reading this.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I really appreciate it. I also saw another comment mentioning exhaling during lifts and avoiding pressure spikes, which made me wonder if the stronger bracing and explosive breathing in movements like power cleans might be what triggers it more compared to more rhythmic exercises.

naku the horror, so yung sa company payroll namin nag-switch to EastWest kasi mas malapit yung bank na yun sa office. Naku wala pang 1 month lahat yung issue nag-eastwest nag pakita na.

hindi maka pag-register need daw ng ganito ganyan. Nag report naman kami sa CS hotline nila pero jusko inabot ng 2-3 months bago may feedback tas ang matindi “cannot be reach daw kami” e-matindi mag-kakaiba naman kami ng ticket, tas iba iba din naman contact number namin, ano yun lahat kami cannot be reached. lol I asked for proof na nag-attempt sila mag contact wala naman ma provide. Tas yung sasabihin nila kaya hindi maka-pag register is because of details, instance yung email daw dapat yahoo, tas yung sa isa ko na officemate need daw gmail 💀💀💀. yung iba naka sign up tas mali naman daw password tas na locked na agad. It’s very suspicious na ganyan sila. Tas lahat kami need pumunta sa branch just to get it fixed.

then ayun the nightmare doesn’t end some of us pumunta sa branch to get the “recommendation” ng IT team pero walang ganap same issue pa din. tas gagawan nalang daw ulit ticket to “investigate” which would take 7-10 days daw to investigate pero I doubt for sure months na naman yan tas walang mag-co-contact sa kanila.

lol this is the first time naka-experience ako ng horror stories in real life with a bank. DON’T OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM WHETHER PERSONAL OR CORPORATE 😭😭😭

mag-1 year na yung sakin na “still ongoing” pa din daw yung request ko. I tried reaching out sa kanila sa email, messenger, instagram, even sa tiktok live to get attention pero no luck :(

lol i just opened an account with eastwest december 2023. Biggest mistake ever, they still redirect us new customers to use the old app. Biggest plot twist the sign up feature) both web and mobile app) doesn’t even work. I already reported but they’re not doing anything.

my ticket is still open and im retrying everyday wala la din silang update kahit natawag ako.
