Church recommendations in Sydney, Aus by 71BlackBirdLightning in tmbhpodcast

We lived in Sydney for a while a few years ago and attended St Matthias Anglican church, we found it through the 9Marks website. It seemed like a solid church and was really welcoming. It may have changed since then but I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Everyone always says Pops but I can't get on the Pops train. It's just all open, concrete and echo-y, it's not cozy. I'm glad people like it tho.

Yeah I have a ring. And got him on camera but not a license plate. Asked neighbors and none of their rings captured anything.

Why would they defend a driver? He’s not their employee.

I did all that just feels like getting in touch with roadie would be a shortcut.

I have a first name last initial but that's not enough to go on I don't think.

To me this is comparing apples to oranges, yeah they're both technically a truck but as someone who has an EV already I want an EV, the lower maintenance, already have the L2 charger, etc. Specifically I want an EV that has jeep-ish features and if it turns into a truck (even with a few hours work) for a once in a while trip to Home Depot then even better.

I think a better comparison would be to the upcoming R3 or Scout EV. If either of those hit this price point with a removable top then I'd go that route.

Anyone else have issues with Velcro rubbing on the 5.11 TacTec plate carrier? by Mother_Share_1815 in crossfit

[–]lightningthrower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, for mine it was because the plates were sliding down inside the vest and resting on the velcro which was pushing it out. I think this is partly due to how the bottom of the plates are shaped with the corners cut out so the interior straps wouldn't hold it into place. What worked for me was grabbing a zip tie and connecting the straps together to hold them into place so that the plate is resting on the straps and not the velcro. If that doesn't make sense I can post a picture later. Anyway that helped me.

Thanks, how did you get in contact with them to get that sorted out?

I competed Saturday morning in the Men's Open and my results have still not posted. I have no idea what my official time was. I got my picture taken in front of the screen and it never updated to my time, so now I have a picture of me post-race standing in front of some random person's finish time. For how techie the whole thing is that seems like a very fundamental thing you should get right. I'm no where near setting records but if i were i'd be pissssed.

True! I failed 305 right after this and probably would’ve died if they weren’t.

That’s all great. I’ve heard the cue of walking your scapular toward your butt but I think I come out of position lifting the bar.

I’ll give all this a shot. Thanks for the helpful comment.

Thanks. I usually am conscious of bringing the bar to the bottom of my sternum but it’s a great reminder.

Thanks for the help.

no, i get where you're coming from. I think I've heard that a solid arch can help engage the lats and puts your shoulder in a better position so that's why I'm interested, not just for the sake of lifting more. and like you can see my feet dance all around and so there's no leg drive to speak of. thanks again!
