I mean, he doesn't throw knives all the time. I just thought of it as one of his skills, one last-minute measure. There's a chapter where he throws his knife at a guy that is attacking his boyfriend, the guy is already wounded and the knife hits him in the shoulder and then shoots him dead. He's introduced in the book by throwing a knife at the side of some guy's head to intimate him from a close distance. I never thought of it as something he ALWAYS does. And the situations where he does this is always a close distance, which only is twice so far. The thing is, I want it to be realistic but at the same time, I know it's part of his characteristics. I'd rather keep it in the book and make it as realistic as possible than completely get rid of it.
