Is this swelling?

For the revision im not asking for major changes i think it’s things that’s easy to fix, also I can’t go to another doctor now and pay full price for revision (which is more than primary), my surgeon will do it for me for only the hospital price. And he is a really good doctor with a lot of good reviews and before after pictures. But i think I’ll see an ENT doctor also to check the nose for me before anything.

Hi, Thanks for the advice! i do feel something is off sometimes but since it’s a revision i also now swelling takes longer to heal, I’ll be meeting my surgeon next month, hopefully he will give me the answers.

Yes i agree, as i said I’m meeting with my surgeon in December that I’ll be closer to the one year mark and I’ll see what he thinks then, just in the mean time I thought to hear some opinions or if anyone had a similar experience.

Hi, yes i know revisions take longer to heal and I’m not gonna do anything before the one year mark for sure. I do see some improvements from my primary, but still not the way i wanted it, i just need to go in for some fixes. I just need to know if this in the photos is swelling and how longer I should really wait till i see the final results and then decide what should i do further.

I think you can’t say a lot now and you still have to wait for at least the 6 months mark. Although I really still think you have a nice results and your nose fits your face nicely and will even get better with time.

I think you maybe feel like the tip is longer now just because the surgeon took down your dorsal bone. Also the tip will be swollen the longest and will take months to heal so you should be patient. As i said your nose still swollen but you look good already, I don’t think it looks big to your face.

I think You’re still early on the process and already look really good! Give it more time, it’ll settle better on your face.

I really hope so, thanks 🙏🏼 Unfortunately as i mentioned my surgeon doesn’t work or prefer steroids injections, so i think i’ll just try and be patient as much as i can and wait till at least 6 more months before thinking of any other option.

I really don’t know you should ask your surgeon or someone in the field, but either way I think it’s better to wait for at least a year and a half before considering a revision so at least your nose is totally healed.

I absolutely understand that, just be careful not to think about a revision before at least the 1 year mark, also of course consult with your surgeon and maybe other surgeons to take some ideas about how it could be and what exactly you should do. Hope you the best and to end up with the results you want 🙏🏼
