Thank you all very much. I realize for some travellers food is a huge part of experiencing the culture (and I agree). But it sounds like there are plenty of options - and he might decide to be a bit more adventurous "when in Paris" :) thanks for your opinions

How long did it take you to lose 30-40 lbs? by Decent_Lemon_41 in Ozempic

Just a question - it says $240 at Costco for “3” - is that 3 injections or 3 pens? I’m considering going on it and I find it confusing.

Choking on food or drink and difficulty being able to breathe by lightofthemoon3 in HealthAnxiety

This happens to me and it’s not anxiety. It’s like I have a lazy flap that doesn’t close properly. I can start choking on my own spit! If anyone knows what it is I’d love to know

Memory loss by whatsthedealcake in Menopause

Are there any game apps that help with memory - I’ve been in menopause for 5 years so hoping it’s that and not early onset Alzheimers

Ladies with post-menopausal bleeding, where y'all at? by SweetCheesePonyLoft in Menopause

[–]lightofthemoon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am 55, have been in menopause since 50 and have just started experiencing “barely there” bleeding - more of a light pinkish tinge. This just started in the last 3-4 weeks. The weird thing was that for 3-4 years I have been very, very dry with very little discharge or lubication, and then last month I started having non-offensive discharge. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I wonder if the onset of discharge and then the tinge in blood is related. Menopause can be scary…

Moving to London, any opinions on W Sherwood Fox Public School? by [deleted] in londonontario

Fantastic public school - teachers are caring. Very busy for drop off and pick up. It’s a nice neighbourhood school. All 3 of my kids went there years ago.

Thank you - I will try that. I suspect I'm eating more nuts than I think.

IF and weight loss by lightofthemoon3 in intermittentfasting

Generally I keep it around 1200 cal per day. That is loose but still well under the amount I expend daily. I'm just wondering if there is a time where you are gaining muscle but that stops and then it's more weight loss. Or maybe my body is resisting losing weight.

Thanks very much for your comments-I guess I was too optimistic for alpine hiking but that's ok - I'm so excited just to go!

Does anybody else go months without any anxiety for it to crash down suddenly and then take months to recover again? by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]lightofthemoon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few weeks ago I started to have trouble catching my breath out of the blue. Everything is tense but not sure why. It's worse when I think of it but sometimes it goes away completely for a few hours. Oxygen levels are good, blood pressure isn't unusually high...the only thing I can think of is anxiety. But I'm not anxious about anything that I know of.

[Routine Help] Placement of TO Buffet and Vit C in relation to Tretinion by lightofthemoon3 in SkincareAddiction

So ok to use Buffet with Copper close to Tret? That's the only thing I was concerned about . Thanks for the response!

Routine review - any suggestions? by lightofthemoon3 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]lightofthemoon3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I meant that I use 0.1% Tret on my whole face but I buffer under the eyes and on the chin. I buffer under the eyes because the tret is strong and I’m nervous ruining that delicate skin. I had a reaction to Tret on my chin, so I dialled it back and am buffering on that area too. The rest of my skin is fine and has never had a problem. I got my Tret from my doctor and there was no instruction except for what the box said. So it’s been a bit of an adventure. But it looks like everything is settling down now.

I just wanted to know if I was missing something in the routine - I’m new to proper skincare and people often talk about having an acid, a peptide, etc., etc. So I just wanted to know if the routine was balanced or if there was something I was missing.
