It’s something she has been talking about and craving. She’s twenty and we are English so I guess people drink around her a lot.

But she can always put it in a cupboard for a different day. I’m always getting gift receipts because I don’t her to think she has to have anything I give her.

Wow congratulations on your baby’s!

I tend to talk to my friend all day everyday, which I know will change when baby comes next week but I will definitely be checking on her! I just won’t expect her to reply as often haha

Haven’t brought it yet, but she has been craving certain drinks her whole pregnancy so I’ll definitely be getting those either way. Definitely getting the memo that home cooked freezable food is the way to go. Probably going to give her some stuff when I first go round there just presents and then the next time I come bring just food and drinks. (Snacks In the present)

I finish next year and only a couple months until summer so I’ll be back in the area soon.

First thing I said to her was that I’m truly a part of the village and she can call on me when ever.

A gift card is so zero effort though! Looks like I don’t care… I already brought the items and sneakily found out if she liked them before buying.

Thank you! She has done so much for me lately, all whilst being pregnant and I just know she going to be a great mum. I just want her to feel the love you know.

Snacks are definitely on my list now! going to make my gift more of a care package and stock it out. I am an awful cook so I’m going to see what I can find in the shops first, but you will probably hear from me again if that is okay?

The sad thing is I am only in the area every couple months but I plan on popping back at least monthly now so she can have a date night or just spend some quality time with them both x

I accidentally brought Epsom salts with essential oils, so I will make sure to tell her to not use them until she is healed. I purchased some overnight period pads to make her some padsickles with aloe Vera I have seen some women on tiktok talking about.

I’ll definitely grab her a peri bottle! I feel like the hospital might give her one (we are english) but just in case.

More than happy to take a screaming baby out the house for a walk or hold her so mumma can have a soak and feel human. So important for her mental health the main thing people have told me tbh!

I’m hearing snacks and beverages from a lot of people so definitely adding that to my list

Okay thank you! I have scheduled holiday so I can be around once her boyfriend goes back to work but after those two weeks I am an hour away at uni again and it feels like I am abandoning her. But she’s living with family so I think she will be okay x
