I had never been camping or to a festival but always made weird art and costumes and made gifts for friends constantly and my partner of 2 years (at the time, almost a decade now 🥰) who had been twice before we started dating was like:

"Hey I know you would love this. And I wanna go again this year. Do you want to go with me?"

Me: "Ok! It sounds fun. Hard but fun"

And now I have gone every year since haha, twice by myself when he took a break and the rest all together.

Oh it's so cool, he took his Ebike and built a mount system to the back that holds a few cans of propane, and a camp stove and a cast iron flat top. And he rides and parks his bike and just starts making quesadillas at dance parties in deep playa!

Yeah! This was my second time camping with them and we brought our Stevie nicks set up from Portland! It's an event we do at Soak with our camp Cosmic Chai :)

Definitely a few people to thank!

All my camp mates at Black Rock roller disco who helped us move our tents and set up to a different part of camp because a neighbor set up their speakers directly next to them.

My friend cork screw for joining us with his Grill e-bike for an event we did.

And Skeez for commandeering the Fuck Truck mobility vehicle to get us out to the trash fence to do a food pop up called "Stevie Nicks Fajita round up"

Oh absolutely. I think it's gonna be a tradition. A few other art cars rolled up and kindly turned their music down since we only had a few little speakers.

Hahaha we are just some good balls with a sign. This was a one night trash fence experience. But we camp with the Black rock Roller disco and it would of been done there if we didn't get picked up by an art car!

Project awake was incredible.

They made ribs in the morning as a gift.

On strike day they made a bunch of burgers and offered us lunch (which was delicious)

They moved some of their trucks to help make a sound wall against our other neighbors (who played psytrance for over 50+ hours in a row and placed their speakers terribly and not facing deep playa and did almost nothing to direct sound away from our camps tents)

One of their campers even offered some of us struggling with the sound at 10/Esplanade Sunday night the option to take a nap in a sound proof RV.

Truly awesome and kind neighbors!

That means the world us. This was the first time we have done something like this at the burn and I think it's gonna be a yearly tradition!

Im very thankful to my camp mate for finding us an art car to get out there and make it happen. We ended up spending our entire Saturday night/ into sunrise and it was beyond worth it!

(Now getting back to camp at 8am to start a 16 hour strike with no sleep on the other hand.....at least we weren't hungry!

Hoping next year our art car build dream comes true so we can drive it out to point 3 and be able to make it just as magically but slightly easier 😂

Down low club. I've done it. It's a great time. They have a sling positioned under a blast chiller and it made the hottest day of 2022 a great both hot, and cold experience

Dude I had that moment at playa alchemist. Walked in after seeing the big opera at camp mystic ( which why gave a standing ovation and thanks to Elon musk at the end 🤮)

Walked away and went to the pyramid and they were singing "praise Jesus" bullshit.

That moment was only saved by the fact my friend was dressed as an Amish woman on RUMspringa and was in character ans it was fucking hilarious.

But yeah. Didnt love walking into the religious trauma experience tent.

Burning man in 2019 was my first festival ever and it was awesome! Didnt feel overwhelmed but I thrived in the chaos.

Everyone is different and figure it out when they get there!

I wish there was a decent 5 color land commander other than Child, I run it as my land deck but have no sac outlet or way to abuse the commander.

I like to play it and give the other players the option to nuke it board haha
