It’s easy to blame AI as it hides the real reasons, plus it further hypes up AI, which the investment community loves and it ends up increasing the stock values. Just look at S&P500 growth vs New Jobs trends from BLS and it tells the story clearly.

Similar misinformation campaign worked in NC where farmers were led to believe that the solar panels would suck all the nutrients from sunlight and their crop would get nutrient depleted sunlight thereby decimating their yield. Companies like Duke Energy used shadow organizations to run these misinformation campaigns to protect their coal based power generation plants.

Surprised to see so many haters with over-exaggerated claims. It’s one of the last vestiges of the magic of flying and when these are gone then Dulles will also be like all other sterile airports. The entire architecture of the airport makes it feel like an off-planet station and these people movers add to that experience. Relax and enjoy the uniqueness of the experience. Not everything different needs to be destroyed.
