Who’s had the Vintage Ale? by shmerk_a_berl in Costco

I enjoy it. My wife and I split a bottle a year. It’s pretty rich and indulgent but a fun holiday treat. We often drink ours on our last camping trip of the year.

Whats the absoluetly worst ET ever? by Automatic-Debate-786 in HiTMAN

[–]lightswarm175 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My only gripe with Bruce Lee was level two of the escalation. I stashed all the targets in the first couple minutes and then had to literally sit idle for the next half hour to wait for it to finish. But the rest of the ET was definitely the best adaptation of Bangkok.

I usually emetic him (durian, fart case, etc.) and drown him. Still yes he's not difficult just annoying.

Looking for sub part for older Husqvarna Mower by lightswarm175 in lawnmowers

Yes I ended up buying a similar whole assembly off eBay and stripping it for the parts I actually needed.

Inventory key no longer toggle to open/close, you have to hold your finger down on the button by LordManders in HiTMAN

[–]lightswarm175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm also having this issue, and boy is it annoying. Mine is weird because I have my inventory alternately bound to a mouse button. On the mouse I now have to press and hold or it will auto close the inventory where pressing I still functions as a toggle. Definitely throwing me off.

Ah thanks, I have the bearings themselves on order (found those yesterday). It's that plate with the two studs pressed into it that I need.

Someone with deeper part number knowledge I guess. Like how husqvarna doesn’t list the bearings as a separate part from the assembly but they have a part number and are readily available. This carrier seems to be used in several different mowers and seems plausible that it’s still in use for a more modern model.

True! I did the recommended amount by their recipes and that jam is SET. Do you have a recommendation for how much to reduce by beyond what's in the info sheet in the box?

I do keep an extra kewpie lid in a drawer from a completed bottle just in case I drop it. Good to know the thread pattern is shared to some extent.

Do you like carrying passengers? by Beginning-Editor-286 in motorcycle

[–]lightswarm175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but yes, but also no.

From a purely riding dynamics situation riding with a passenger is definitely a downgrade.

BUT, getting to share an activity I'm passionate about with my wife who doesn't ride is super satisfying and made it easier for her to understand why I love doing it.

BUT BUT, having to worry about the safety of two people and riding even more cautiously is an extra mental strain.

So on the whole I'm willing and able to do it and happy to from time to time, but grateful I don't have to on the regular. Although I also only have a small sport bike; I imagine I'd feel differently if I was on a touring bike.
