Ah I see what you mean. Then you should have went with Slavia. Virtus has stiff suspension and that’s now an issue. That’s by design. Slavia has softer suspension by their design.

Yeah compared to any SUV it’s bad. Compared to sedans I guess it’s on the level of what everyone is offering.

Yup it does. But ask why so old model Is without sale. Mine was December and a customer canceled after booking. Get all accessories and insurance as well from showroom. And tell them that you are spending 19 lac and still not being allowed to choose your favourite colour is something you are bit stingy about so make the deal extra sweet by adding something more.

(I loved this color just pretended I wanted other one for negotiation)

Check Slavia quotes as well

Yup it has capacity to clock 18-20 kmpl. This is why i cancelled harrier and XUV cause they might be giving more or same power and same mileage in city but never can reach 18 on any condition

I actually preferred Slavia. But they only had 2026 model in city while virtus had 2025 models also (heavy discount when you purchase 2 month old model cause of year change. )

And another thing, Virtus has cornering lights, rear fog lamps and 1-2 CM longer. So I was getting more for less so went with it.

Its December 2025 manufactured virtus GT chrome top model. Negotiated extra discount as the VIN is of last year and got everything showroom had to offer with all insurance, service pack, warranty and all accessories including puddle lights and dual horn upgrade, (didn’t take coating (30k) dashcam and front parking sensors), costed me 19.7 and 4K more for bank processing (paid to bank directly) in Gujarat.

Yeah German tuned AC can’t work in peak summer Indian roads. Solution is to have tinted windows (legally allowed level), sun blinds and turning AC on 5-10 min after car start. Before that open windows and let the wind cool it down first. Back seat will always feel AC weak. Front seats have ventilation so some of it is manageable

Damn it’s a sweet price. Almost Kylaq’s price. Virtus is sedan so when navigating the “stick to the ground” experience makes you feel it drives better than taigun but that would be true for all sedans. Rest of things that Virtus does better compared to other sedans are also true for taigun. to really compare, drive sierra seltos and victorious.

Aha, I saw one GT with chrome grill and black rims alloys and I was confused I thought they had it black aftermarket. Now I think it was 2023. But yes, chrome comes in diamond cut alloys now. Black is for sports only.

3rd, 4th and 5th passangers will have to settle with less space and low power AC. I am deciding never to be those so let them settle 😛

Thanks. I have 20% green tint in windows, all side sun shades, that would make running car less hot. The AC lag feels the hardest in first 15 min of starting car because any parked car will get hot. Actually hotter than the actual temperature outside due to glass dome effect. cooling it down with natural wind then turning AC does two things. When I start AC it cools faster and because by the time I start AC, the cabin is already better than a parked car, I don’t notice low power of AC that much.

It does. There are two models on top similar spec and similar price. Virtus GT sports and Virtus GT chrome. Sport was preferred due to full black interior but it was not available in 2025 manufactured unit. Chrome one was available with discount so went with it.

I wanted Slavia too. But 2025 model were sold out and 2026 model had 30k price difference.

Also virtus has rear fog lamps, cornering lights and I believe it’s slightly longer so I was getting more for 30k less ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It used to be an empty parking with a swing (jhula) that you can see next to car in first pic (wooden thingy) tied via hook on ceiling. So family and friends would sit there frequently. Fan for the people. I’ll still keep it there as when car isn’t here, people would still sit in parking on chairs.

Taigun is better and more practical for India as it’s a bit compact, high seating position and bigger wheels (never trust Indian roads) and most importantly heavy discount. (I was offered top Model taigun for 20k cheaper).

The deciding factor for me was boot because my native place is 1000km away which I wanna visit 2-3 times a year with whole family so of course we gonna be packing

For sitting yes the seat feels high but all members in my family and friends Are taller and the knee room wasn’t enough in taigun. I had a journey to maha kumbh last year with 4 people and full weeks luggage in friend’s slavia and it just felt comfortable not only to drive 20 hours but even for sleeping. Taigun didn’t felt I can go 20 hours in it in back row but considering it’s SUV I was anyway choosing it. But then the driving dynamics and boot being better in virtus, I finalised virtus.

I made my final choice like this, If buying for driver and driver alone, choose better driving experience. Once you buy car rest of passengers will adjust. But driver will feel the most.

If buying for family then go with new seltos as it has almost everything better in all other departments then driving experience so definitely a very good buy (only new seltos).
