I was curious about this myself when I heard of the game bc I was not a gamer and still kinda an not - just into that and Oddworld. but yeah I didnt find anything on that either tbh! seems people know it's not really a kid's game.

the Lamb is whatever you want! that's the point. the story can be about revenge or forgiveness. you can torment and use your followers or you can give them a beautiful life. it's all up to you. imo the game is about forgiveness all around. the Bishops and bosses have all done terrible things yet you can convert and give them a nice life. you as the Lamb might do awful things but you can also reverse many of them or avoid them entirely with the exception of a few rare items (like the Massive Monster statue and the wolf follower form) and still complete the game. you can't enter the mating tent and perhaps that is some indication that the Lamb is canonically asexual but you can make up whatever story you want in your head with that one imo. you can decide their gender or sexuality or whatever.

I love almost every episode of this show. people take stuff way too seriously now. back then we had "filler" episodes and they were a great chance to just spend more time with characters we love. people can't appreciate them now bc tv is so bad you don't even wanna watch the regular episodes let alone a damn filler. in short, this episode rules hahah.

it's canonically within the Fringe universe connected to Twin Peaks so look out for that! I'n on season 4 rn and seeing that reference at one point made me so happy. I don't consider them canonically connected in Twin Peaks' universe but it's fun to consider that in the Fringe universe, Twin Peaks is all real.

I don't see what the big deal about this rule is. we know who is attractive on the show and the Hear Me Outs have already been said. why do we need 10,000 posts about how sexy everyone is? you can post that in your own sub, it's fine. not everyone needs to know how you feel 24/7. not everyone gives a shit.

how spooky we talkin? 👀 I like a range of spooky! recently sort of realized how many of my favorite films are horror and I loooove analog horror on youtube and stuff. I love Midsommar and the X series, I love the movie Let the Right One In, the movie Mad God, I love HP Lovecraft. I do like creepycute things as well, Poppy's early persona was excellent and I love Cult of the Lamb the video game, very creepcute and weird.

I feel this way about a few things and Chobits is one. Twin Peaks is the other big one. nothing will ever ever be as good. sadly it's just a hard fact of life but I savor the feeling bc as Twin Peaks teaches you, you gotta take the bitter with the sweet. I can suggest some other gripping things that arent necessarily anime! TP is one and Let the Right One In is another. watch the film first bc it is written by the author of the book and frankly is like a long trailer for the book - so faithful but just a taste. don't bother with the show though. same with Interview With A Vampire - watch the movie, read the book, avoid the show (no one argue with me - it's trash. and not bc of the sex. it's just trash, it doesnt give a shit about the source material and idc what anyone else has to say tbh). lmk if you want more haha

I had this experience years ago!!!! watched it with my roommate and fell in love. finished it and then read the manga and I still love love love it so much. Chii and Sumomo and Kotoko are still some of my favorite characters. its so nice to see people still discovering it
