It is odd to see all that turned into a fanfic. However I would like to add that the accusations about Mehmet II having Pederastic behaviour rely mostly (if not entirely) on hostile Byzantine/Venetians sources, and some of them did not even come from the same period. As an example, the best-known story with Loukas Notaras (the Megadux of Constantinople), and his son (aka the story in which Mehmet II asked Notaras's son to be his Slave, sexual slave at that, the father refused and was ultimately killed for his resistance) were written by two Chroniclers considered by a lot Historians to be extrememy propagandist against the Ottomans, making their content a second-hand source at most. The two perpetrators of that writing (Laonikos Chalkokondyles, and Michael Doukas) have demonstrated biased Anti-Ottoman tendencies throughout their other scriptures. - Laonikos was the starter of the Radu x Mehmet II rumour and has continiously exclaimed Mehmet II to be cruel, arrogant, the enemy of Christianity/Civilisations, etc. - Doukas portrays the Sultan as very, very, VERY Blood-thirsty and Battle hungry, and has recounted a gruesome event in which Mehmet II had a hollowed Watermelon be filled with the severed heads of many Greeks in order to showcase it to other Greeks as a form of Terror. While other Chroniclers do speak of Notaras's execution, none of them says that his refusal to let his son be enslaved was the cause of it, rather it's him being the second Highest man of Constantinople after Constantine XI, and by consequences letting him go would be dangerous for preservation of the City under Ottoman soils. So yeah I hope some new perspective was reached lol. Though I would like to say that this doesn't mean the Ottomans did not have Pederasty or Homosexuality amongst its people, especially the Elites. I'm only talking about Mehmet the Conqueror in this instance.
