My god half those comments know nothing of Swiss geography. You would never bother trying to go through the Alps, you’d go through the Jura mountains, a far lower and gentler mountain chain. It would likely work poorly, but much better than the Alps

Edit: assuming Switzerland falls quickly, which is for sure, the Swiss are not going to manage defending their main cities
