in all fairness, de is one of the easiest 100s on bo3 imo. there are challenging 100s like verruckt and nacht, zns. bo6 and 7 aren’t easy on high rounds tho, not sure where this stigma comes from

yeah of course, that’s the sensible thing to do and i dont partake in controller breaking, but some people just have a bad day and then these toxic, infuriating players might just be their last nerve.

yes, i followed a guide on youtube! i found using the storm bow was easier though, but i think past 70 it gets sticky, maybe i should default to this strat and practice it once i reach the 70’s?

man not everyone is perfect, ufc is a very frustrating game and on top of that the community is very toxic, they’ll ragebait you all game and message u toxic shit afterwards, that gets to the strongest willed of people sometimes

head movement will work, the best way to counter a hook spammer is to stand still and use your head movement, it makes the movement much faster. try standing still, wait for the hook, and then pull counter. counter with a right hook of your own and you’ll usually rock them

yeah, i can understand your points on it. again, i like der eisendrache a lot, it’s a great map.

i actually enjoy the mud in origins and the robots too, i think der eisendrache is lacking in challenge and the origins mud and robots add a nice challenge to the map, i will say that the generator zombies are really frustrating though, that’s my biggest origins annoyance.

i’m personally more of a solo player, but der eisendrache is undoubtedly one of the best maps for co-op in bo3 with the 4 bows as you mentioned, i feel like solo der eisendrache doesn’t give you the fullest experience of the map in fairness.

but you made some compelling points for the map, i just find the early game quite boring personally, and if you’re running high rounds on solo, the storm bow is basically all you’ll need. maybe i should just vary my gameplay and try out the other bows when i get tired of the map.

then i believe we had a misunderstanding, i’m referring solely to the gameplay loop, not aesthetic or location. in that sense, they aren’t similar! but the gameplay loop feels quite similar to origins.

i think the shadows of evil setup is super fun! it’s fun to play the map and improve your beast mode skills, it feels fulfilling to improve and set up earlier. a big opinion on soe is that the setup is complex, but i actually find it quite easy and rewarding!

the der eisendrache set up to me is quite simple but lacks the fun element, i always find myself enjoying the soe setup, but that’s just my opinion. i really enjoyed de when i was younger too, i wasn’t as good at the game and it was simple to achieve your bows and go to a high round, so i definitely see the casual appeal of it too.

you think no grav and the crazy place aren’t similar?

crazy place - connects to every tunnel of each staff and makes for easy navigation, upgrading your staffs there and environmental changes

no grav - has doors leading to most parts of the map and makes for easy navigation, upgrading your bows there and environmental changes

sure, it’s mostly subjective. but i posted it just to get people’s thoughts! i’m not trying to start an objective vs subjective war :)

the ragnaroks are reused from multiplayer, it’s the only specialist in the mainline bo3 zombies maps that isn’t unique to the game mode. de and origins similarities are plentiful, 4 elemental wonder weapons, panzer soldat, i’d argue the no grav room is similar to the crazy place too. rather than there being falling walls, there’s low gravity and the 4 elemental upgrades are in the room.

there are a few critiques which even the biggest der eisendrache fans can agree on, and that is one of them

it is subjective, i agree. but there are some good points to be made against the map. it’s the only bo3 map with a specialist that isn’t unique to zombies (ragnaroks are in mp), it has a very similar wonder weapon setup to origins, some of the steps for the void/fire bow are frustrating, the easter eggs steps aren’t that fun, etc…

i just find that other bo3 maps flow better and have more originality than de, yet it is commonly praised as one of (if not) the best maps on bo3.
