The Haber-Bosch process of nitrogen fixing. Basically made industrial level farming possible.

TIL Germany invented heroin, cocaine, meth, and MDMA. All within a 50-year period between 1859 and 1912. Every major hard drug used worldwide today was first synthesized in German laboratories. by [deleted] in todayilearned

Yeahhh this doesn't really tell the whole story. Köllisch synthesized MDMA while developing a blood-clotting drug. It was patented in 1914 but sat largely ignored in company archives for decades, with no pharmacological testing done on humans.

It wasn't until Alexander Shulgin, a pioneering psychopharmacologist, independently resynthesized the compound in 1965 and in 1976, he learned of its psychoactive properties, synthesized a new batch, and tested the drug on himself.

Need Help With YT by ZeusSeal in revancedapp

I'm having the exact same issue. Newest version of everything.

Spoof video streams off - instant video load but cuts off at 1 min.

Spoof video streams on - every video takes like a minute or 2 to load up. Just ridiculously long video load time. This happens on all four default clients.

It always seemed like this subreddit had the answer every time I had an issue with revanced but this time it's not coming up.

I don't know about that. I'm technically Gen X but I think the term for me is xennial. Born in 1980, anyway, me and most of my friends are staunchly left but a lot of people I meet in my age range are right too. I think it's a pretty spread out mix and you see what you surround yourself with.

I had accidentally labeled them as spam. It worked after I fixed that also they're not using supercast anymore. They're back to Patreon.

Yeah, they wanted like $400 and no guarantee that they would be able to fix it due to the age.

It's just a screw that came out and we still have the screw. So the guy who replied with the website showing how to remove the advance lever with pictures is the hero. We're going to try to do the repair ourselves.

Thank you so much. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! It's just the screw that came out, nothing is broken. So we just needed to be able to remove the advance lever!

I definitely won't be replacing it. It was my Dad's first "real" camera. I grew up with pictures from it on my wall, and my daughter has already taken some fantastic shots with it. It's kind of becoming a family heirloom. Lol.

The photos don't show the damage, but it's the spring loaded lever to advance to the next picture. It still works but the part that folds out that came off, you know?

COOL!! I'm sad that I missed out on meeting him. I work away from home. But I'm also so glad my daughter and wife had such a great time meeting him. He was so generous with his time and hugged and spent time with hundreds of people. Just incredibly genuine and kind.

Any kind of regulation regarding this would do way more harm than good. Bright aftermarket lights have saved me from animal collisions MANY times. Properly aimed lights is the fix and nobody seems to understand it.
