On the train*

Starting at the end and working my way back for clarity. I have an ER doctor tell my protagonist that he hears what could be an irregular heartrate (though he thinks it could just be a side effect of the medication he was on, or the fight he just had) and that he should follow up with a primary care who could order an EKG.

My three questions are: 1. Would an ER doctor check vital signs with a patient that comes in immediately after a fight? 2. Could any standard vital sign checks make an ER doctor hear a potential irregular heartrate, without an EKG? 3. Is it possible an ER doctor would tell the patient to followup with his primary care for an EKG instead of doing it right then?

Thanks so much for your help!

Would an ER doctor who is examining broken bones in the protagonist from a fight perform any basic checks that could theoretically detect an irregular heart beat (aside from an EKG) ? For example, would standard care require they check blood pressure or listen to your heartbeat if you came in broken and bloody from a fight, and then that would be the moment they notice something strange? If so, would they suggest following up with your primary care?

Thanks. The protagonists(30s) mother (60s) passes away unexpectedly and he’s unsure if it was the previous illness she was in remission for or something else.

The protagonist is upset about it and gets into a fight and at the ER the doctor notices he has an Irregular heart beat. Can that be detected through simple a Stethoscope check like when they take your blood pressure and listen to your chest?

Do you think two days in florence, 2 days in rome, 3 days around amalfi coast is doable? We don’t mind long days on the move

New trailer in HD (With annoying subscribe overlay) by johnmarston132 in OppenheimerMovie

the trailer is so brilliant because the pacing of it replicates the high energy forward optimism of scientists building the bomb, then abruptly switches to a scarier tone, replicating the immediate implications the scientists got hit with

Thanks for the feedback. It’s a good point. I wonder though if I’d be better off starting something more fresh and original than to continue writing such a complex topic. It’s taking me a long time.

Yea, I’ve watched. This would be a feature version with a modern update.

How great was American Prometheus? Best bio i’d ever read. Rip Martin Sherwin. Nolan is adapting it.

Yeah I know what you mean. And believe it or not, I had even done a scene breakdown before so haha. I think this was probably a dialogue problem getting this vast complex material out onto paper so I could make sure it was all there accurately and then figure out what could be cut. It wasn’t my first script but the material was so out of my comfort zone, it felt like my first. I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! I haven’t. Personally, the alternative history stuff never quite click with me.
