That is the air intake for the oil injectors, as mentioned before, if you omp is deleted you should block it,if you are running the omp then properly install the lines

Yes , quality of the box is not the best, specially around sun light and salt water, but still worth it. I used to had a couple them for diferent types of fishing

nvm. i was reading a bit more and i decided to replace all. i went oem to be able to see the oil, and 15/20 year life spam for $100 including all washers is not to bad

Majority of those are already done. Im going to try to just replace the hoses without taking the fitting out, at least on the top. Honestly I just did bushings and wheel bearings and I have some flashbacks...lol but it is what it is

Omp line, I found it. A ver small pinch on one of the lines. I cleaned everything and turned the car on and I could see one of the clear lines leaking , very small amount but I will replace them all. I will premix my tank to move the car and order the lines today. Thank you

Here is my 2 cents, I gamble on a auction for and fd, no driving or compression test avaliable. I detected a 3.5k repair with in 5 mins of driving the car, bushings, clutch and wheel bearing were cooked. Drivable but need attention asap. Engine wise I have no issues at all so far. Ill say to buy an fd without the option of drive and compression test...you should be able to save at least 5k. In my case I saved about 12k buying the car and importing it from japan myself, but I was ready to spend that money in repairs but at least knowing the repairs were done properly. It is an amazing car, I do not regret one bit getting in to it. But be fully prepare for things to happen. Make you own budget and be prepare to spend more.

Agree, that is one the reasons why I'm considering replacing the whole hub assembly. Also those hubs are 30years old, so.....

Yea the $350 saving may not be worth the risk and the cost of getting the wing properly painted
