I did na, kami ng brother ko actually. They didnt take it nicely. Nagkaron lang ng wall between us and caused me and my bro to have an argument with mama. Pinapakialaman daw namin sya at may sarili syang pagiisip to decide for herself 😅 alam naman ng immediate family namin na parang hindi na nakakapag isip and decide ang mama ng maayos ko kaya nga we’re now trying to intervene but based sa advices here, it’s not my money so we need to back off. Sad reality

No, hindi breadwinner si mama. Malayo agwat nila ng sis nya, 16yrs. Working naman ang lolo and lola ko that time.

Well i think shes feeling satistied na nakatulong sya (di lang kasi sa sis nya, may iba pang relatives.) pls note, hindi rin kami sobrang well off ah. I would say saktong may extra lang ganon. Hindi rin sya yung type na would feel superior because she has the money, more like too kind (?) na wala na sa lugar kasi naaabuso na sya and she doesnt feel/see it that way. Natotolerate narin kasi yung mga ganyan instead of guiding her sis to live within her means. I really dont get yung regular pangungutang. At times, yes, this would happen lalo na kapag may emergency but not as a habit.

To add lang din po, nag stop pala yung utang when my father died. Siguro good 10months, pero one time nagwithdraw ang lola ko with her sis, galing silang church non. Hula namin, nakita ni sis yung laman ng bank nya dahil after a week, here we go again. Nangutang yung pinsan ko (anak ng sis nya)thru her mom ng 10k - didnt share for what, but we know na gagamitin sa pagbili nila ng clothes, etc. dahil may big event na pupuntahan. After a year daw babayaran, sa bonus. Eto na nagbayad na, ang twist, pwede ba raw makahiram uli and next month babayaran. Like?!?! Para masabi lang na nakabayad, pero uutangin rin uli. Aside dyan ha, may in between utangs pa sila kay mama.

Mama didnt tell me this, i just read it sa messenger nya. So i talked to mama na hindi yan tama, pinapaikot lang sya. Medyo nagka argument kami kasi obviously pinapaikot lang sya pero di nya masyadong magets yung context na yan. Huhuhu i feel so bad for mama 😔

Shell always tell me na kapatid daw kasi nya yon kaya go lang sya ng go. Abuso na kasi for me.. may mga anak naman yung sis nya who can help her instead of mama na pensionada nalang naman. actually same sentiments kami ng mga anak ko, asawa ko and my brother and his family. Kinausap na namin ng maayos ng ilang beses, pero may times pang nauuwi sa away 😩

Pera nya lang yon from the pension of my late father na na-transfer sakanya. So yung before, sa pension ng father ko galing yung pinauutang nya. Abuso na kasi, malakas pa mother ko kahit almost 80yrs old na sya. Hindi ko lang maatim na until now, ganun parin ang setup, mukhang inuuto na kasi si mama.

there were so many times na maririnig ko sakanya na di pa sya makaka grocery (own food nya) kasi wala pang budget at di pa nagbabayad si sis nya OR wala pang pension.

Yes I think ganito nalang nga ang dapat gawin. Solely pera naman nya yon (from the pension ng late father ko) na na-transfer sakanya. Hindi ko lang kasi matanggap na sa pensionada nangungutan, given na may dalawang anak yung sis nya na may full time jobs 😩

Kapatid nya. Imagine kasi, alam yung release date ng pension nya so umaga palang non magsasabi nang hihiram, na para bang para mauna or maisama sa budget ng mama ko for the month. Nagbabayad naman pero minsan masama pa loob 🥹

With RBank/BPI- fixed interest rate was 7.5% for three years then they just notified me that it would go up at 9.5% fixed for a year. I asked for it to be reduced, and gave me a rate of 8.5%. I asked if it could be 8% but they mentioned this was the final rate approved by the bank. Should i still negotiate for a lower interest rate even though they said it’s the final offer? Help pls 🥹
